Stuff and fridays

It's friday. Which means it's a pub day.
Sadly, for me, this shall not be the beer engine - I'm going to be at the works christmas party.

I do, however, now have my Eco Sphere. Got delivered this morning. Postie presumably did usual trick of 'tap tap, no one in, time for coffee'. So had to bunk of work a bit to fetch it from the depot.

Because it's a living system, it can't really be shut in the dark (or cold).

So I've now got it on my desk. It came in a 'heated' box. And it's really rather compelling. I've even got a free shrimp.

Of course, now i'm rather tempted to get one of the large ones for my own use...

So that's one notch of christmas shopping done. Still got to find a few things for mumsie dearest (yes, she does hate it when I say that). Jewellery etc. is difficult to do online, but I shall persevere. I really want to avoid doing any christmas shopping in person... it may be unavoidable, but I shall try...

Now, suggestions for a grandmother who can't eat choocies because it gives her migraines. I'm thinkin' maybe flowers, but...
