8Mb in Coventry

Well, a workmate has just pointed me at UK Online.

'early 2005' they'll be releasing an 8Mb ADSL link. 33:1 contention. £40 per month.

And it seems that Coventry is 'on the list'. Which is nice.

Nasty T&Cs though. No more than 16 hours/day, 2 hour max session time and they get stroppy if you set your machine to automatically reconnect after the session expires. Plus, if you consistantly download more than 4gb/day they throw their toys out of the pram.

Not that useful for a shared house arrangement.
