A voyage of discovery
Oct. 1st, 2004 09:29 amI have made a fascinating discovery.
If your sinuses are blocked and 'under pressure' such that your whole face hurts each time your heart beats, it's possible to relieve the pressure by judicious head jiggling.
Just get your head at the right angle, and whatever blockage gets spontaneously less blocked.
The only drawback is that I discovered this about 4 am this morning. After having spent the previous 4 hours discovering new meanings of pain and suffering asI was slowly digested over a thousand years my face attempted to explode at about 55 beats a minute.
Oddly, this bug struck fast. Usually I wake up feeling crap. Yesterday I woke up fine, was great over lunch, but just after lunch, over about a 4 hour period I started feeling crap.
Hopefully it will go away as fast.
On that note, whilst lemsip is divine nectar, does anyone have a recommendation for a substitute that isn't contra-indicated with alcohol?
Paracetamol and beer is a little more self abuse than I care to experiment with at the moment.
Oh, and is it wrong that I still have a certain lammy in my pocket from Maelstrom? And every now and then I take it out, look and snigger at it...
