Jobs and servicing
Sep. 30th, 2004 10:52 amWell, there's a thing.
Going to have to cancel my car service on monday.
I'll need to be in London in the afternoon to see a nice man at EMC. About a 'pre sales techie' job.
Which is nice.

Date: 2004-09-30 08:42 am (UTC)endless meetings,
travelling to and from meetings,
touting the company line,
being harrassed because you hadn't met your sales targets,
being told to push product A not B because we need to dump up A sales,
etc, etc, etc.
Forgive me for being negative but where will the joy of the current role you have fit into the future role?

Date: 2004-09-30 09:26 am (UTC)The 'edge' here is that I'll have a good toehold in a 'big name' company.
That said the other prospect I have now, is looking for 'implementors', which sounds more promising.
