It depends what you define as romance. Sure I look for my version of it and the Richard Curtis style romantic idea is appealing to me every now and then for about 5 seconds, but not really.
I'm not looking for it now, because I'm happy with what I have :-)
Just that the popular idea of romance as described in that post doesn't appeal and isn't something I look for.
For example, I can't think of anything more unromantic than 12 roses sent to work and a dinner out on Valentine's day, but that's just me.
I think romance is more indefinable than that and can't be created or found or forced in any other way, it just happens as it happens, hence I wouldn't say I 'look' for even my own version of romance and I have no reason to look for something if I think I have it.
This is gonna sound really mushy. But sometimes it sneaks up on you and hits you between the eyes. It did me.
I have found that romance can be like the "Richard Curtis" movies.. but it can also be like Hobsons Choice (if any one hasn't read the book its well worth reading and as its small should only take up and hour or two of your time).
A walk somewhere can be romantic, as can just watching a movie together.. or even wandering round an aquarium:)
I think it all depends on what you expect in a relationship and what you want to make of it all
