sobriqueI've just had a little bit of a surprise. Just had a quick look at the BCS website. It seems that I'm eligable to apply to become a chartered member of the BCS. (MBCS CITP). Ok, there's application requirements, and probably some demonstration of 'competencies' but...
Question is, are you, or anyone you know a member of the BCS. Is there any point in trying? I'm going to try and blag my boss into it, but ... well if it's something of 'value' then I figure it might be worth a shot myself.
Membership is around a hundred quid a year, which really isn't all that painful.
