New toys and potential new job
Jan. 8th, 2004 03:40 pmWell, I've found someone selling off a toy that I'm after http://forums.ukairsoft.net/showthread.php?s=&threadid=43616
It's an airsoft G3/SG-1 - the sharpshooter variant of the G3. (Second hand sale is about 40 quid more than retail, but includes a 100 quid scope, and 2x 25quid batteries)
Xarrion, if you read this, would that make an acceptable substitute for your SA-80? ;p
I would consider taking it to SINergy as Marcus, but then I _would_ get accused of being a heinous gunbunny - shotgun, sniper rifle, magnum revolver and semi-auto pistol. (Yes, the G3 family is listed as a battle rifle under the sinergy gun list, but that SG1 stands for Scharfschützen Gewehr or sharp shooting rifle)
Oh and found a potential job: http://www.cwjobs.co.uk/js/jobdetails.asp?jobID=10379750
Walsgrave triangle, AAH pharmeceuticals (sp?). Anyone heard of them? A slightly shorter commute, and a slightly higher payscale. Oh and a requirement list that's almost tailor made.
Wonder if I can get them to offer re-location ;p
Oh well, time to go and play with cables. Got a server to hook up to about 6 different networks. Cable fiddling is irritating, especially when our switches aren't properly labled (mutter, but they're not my switches so not a lot I can do)
Popcorn.
