Mail redirection

Memo to self:

When setting up a mail redirect a credit/debit card is not good enough.
Neither is a drivers license, because without the 'counterpart' it 'doesn't count'.
Neither is a passport.

Sigh, back to the PO tomorrow...

Incidentally, I strongly recommend the 'address change service' http://www.royalmail.com/changeofaddress

This is where a shotgun cert comes in handy, it has everything on it, pic, address dob. Plus the cozzers have verified that I live there. One of the best forms of ID you can have.

Actually, I don't think they have 'gun license' on the list of permissable forms of identification.
Although I'm almost tempted to use that as an excuse to buy a certificate:

Police: "So why would you like a firearms license then sir?"

Me: "Well, officer, I've heard they make really good ID. And ... well boomy thing innit?"

Police: "You're taking the piss now mate, bugger off."

Me: "No, seriously. I mean, with a picture of the amazing me, address, date of birth, and an official approval, what could be better."

Police: "You need a good reason for a shotgun certificate. You know, like one that might involve owning a shotgun for some purpose."

Me: "Well, how about if I offer to rob post offices with it?"
