Most women read this and say something like, "Well I'm not the average woman because..blah...blah...not true...blah blah...my boyfriend/lover/husband/masseuse was poor...blah...blah."
If you thought something like this you are very likely the average woman. If you read it and went "Hmmm..." and then you went back to doing physics, then you have a case.
I guess this makes me not average. With the additional plus point that I did not return to doing physics after thinking "hmmm".
I'd argue a few points, and whoever wrote it come across as an arsehole, but at the end of the day, I think he's got it pretty much right. Reading that has made some things make sense that didn't before. With hindsight, it's a more developed form of where my thoughts on the subject were going anyway, I was just far too optamistic to go that far...
