Costume and deliveries

sobriqueWell, I got in touch with the person doing my costume.
It seems it is due to arrive on a special delivery today.
But it hasn't yet, and it's 14:30. Apparently they mentioned a possibility that it'd arrive tomorrow morning.
Which is _really_ pushing it.
I might have to delay my leaving on friday, but hopefully not by a great deal...
I rang up the PO, but got the 'no chance without a tracking number mate' line.
I think I'll pop in to bishop st. this evening anyway. I _really_ don't want to be left with the nasty choice tomorrow.
Not too worried. The frock coat woulda been nice, but I do still have shirt and trousers combo that won't be an entire disaster - and a few traders to raid.
The problem is that if I don't get my stuff by this evening, I'm left with the choice of altering plans for tomorrow and leaving later, or leaving anyway and buying stuff (and improvising with shirt/trousers).
One means I may be waiting pointlessly, and perhaps missing opportunities to grab campsite space, the other means that I'll have basically wasted the money I invested in costume.
