I was speaking to a few people recently, about dancing lessons.
They're starting a 'new sequence' of beginners stuff next week. Starting with ...erm, I can't remember quite what it was called, but it was a slightly different style, Balboa as an intro lesson.
The week after they'll be moving onto 'strolls', and I did check with the instructor guy, and it's suitable for beginners.

I usually aim to get there about 20:00, and if anyone wants a lift, I'm sure it can be arranged. Fee is a fiver, and they usually do beginners, 'open practice', intermediates, 'open practice', strolls.
(Open practice being simply 'music playing, dance floor is there, and have a pint if you feel so inclined')
It's kinda fun, and they're kinda friendly.
