Have just been to see "Knowing".
Do you remember that experience of watching AI?
You know. The one where you saw a film that had some decent headline names, based on an interesting premise.
And then the film started out pretty good, paced quite well and built tension.
And then, it was like the director had a stroke half way through, and proceeded to masturbate furiously over the script and the cast, and scribble inane drivel in his own excretions?
Yeah, it's a bit like that.
To be fair, I think I can see what it was trying for - it went for something very ambitious, but ... well, kinda crashed and burned along the way.

I think I'll be skipping "Knowing" based on your assessment. :)
