"There's probably no God. Now stop worrying and enjoy your life." is the slogan on the side of a bus. It seems to have drawn complaints to the advertising standards authority, for breaking rules on "substantiation and truthfulness.".

I think Carlsberg might have something to say on whether 'Probably' is considered an acceptable modifier to an assertion :).

Well the irony is that to say definitely 'there is no God' in and of itself requires a measure of faith - you cannot completely disprove a negative.

What's interesting is how this plays out as adverts outside churchs. The ones that sort of go 'Jesus saves' or that kind of thing.

Because the same argument could be applied in the opposite direction, and ... well, I mostly don't mind who'd win, but I'd really enjoy watching the argument.
