Gym

Sigh, yet again it seems like a week where I won't be making it to the Gym. Between being away, working late, delivering car for service, and being on call.

Oh well.

I think I shall have to make an especial point of doing so on Saturday or something. Although being on call means swimming/sauna/lazing by the pool isn't much an option, which is a shame.

Maybe I shall do so on friday, instead, in lieu of pubbing (again, being on call is a drag. I think I should be trying to find a job where I don't answer telephones at two in the morning, even if it is an emergency).

The scary thing is, my workmates actually _like_ on callness. Is that creepy, or what? I mean, the feeling of 'zomg I'm important' rapidly fades, into 'oh hell, not _another_ phonecall, go away, I want beer.' (swimming, sleep, to be out of town, or other thing that is constrained by the shackles of callout)

In other news, apparantly 'Storage Specialist' is one of the top three 'in demand, but hard to find people' jobs in IT.

At least, according to Network World. And that's admittedly with an extremely US-centric stance. But hey, we're almost part of the US over here, anyway. Pretty soon we'll be putting disclaimers all over things, and suing everyone for anything. (Or should that be anyone, for everything?)

And the gym thing... it happens. Aren't making it this week either. Annoying to say the least.
