sobriqueTransformers is cool.
Giant robot movie.
Some stuff that transforms, and some rather cool fight sequences.
Enough backplot to tell everyone what's going on, who've never heard of transformers. I understand from![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
ehrine's ranting (repeatedly) that it's a deviation from the 'original' plot, but I don't care.
I think this is a film that delivers, with just enough of a mix of comedy and action to make it a very solid film.
Some bits of camera work annoyed a little - I mean, blur-splode-blur action sequences just annoy me. And too many spinny bits on the robots. Otherwise, cool. Although I believe our first comment about the film was 'well, that guy's either dead in 5 minutes, or a hero'.
A few liberties taken with what makes/models they were, but none that were overly jarring. (I understand VW just said 'NO' which is why you get a different bumblebee, but I don't think it's any the worse for that).
