EVEFest is on the 2nd and 3rd of November.

I'm planning to go. Out on Thursday 1st, back on Sunday 4th. Looks like that's about 459 pounds, for a single bod.

Anyone else interested?

It's a big get together in Iceland for all the players & developers of the MMORPG we play, EVE Online.

If we can afford to after me loosing my place on the nursing course for now and other bits of technical financial messing arround juggling money we are hoping to be going. Then again thats a 2 of us so no help for you on sharing a room. If we can go shall we se if we are going to fly out on the same flight?

Most of House Lyrus in Maelstrom = Lyrus associates in EVE. Some of them even use the same character names. (I don't! ;-)

/me is currently Connor Lyrus in Maelstrom, and Kaganis Warmonkey in EVE.

I'm Miranda Lightspeed in Eve, hubby is Assagai Invari in Eve.

Neither of us uses anything to do with Maelstrom in Eve but will be nice to say hi in Eve if you're interested!

Oh, there's a Maelstrom chat channel in game, which I forget & don't have to hand (PD-Maelstrom maybe?).

We made it after discovering some of Forever Trading play EVE as well.

Hmm Eve the first ever computer game that I've played for more than a couple of hours sice I first got a pc!

I'm not in game ATM, since this computer & EVE have had a Bad Disagreement, and I'm being a bit slow doing a windows re-install.

However, I'm sure one of the other reprobates will do the honours. :-)

Don't worry I have Eve problems too. I'm currently getting booted every few mins most days so I need to try sorting that out!

I play James Lyrus in game. Used to sorta help run ISS, now am just chilling.

'spose it should come as no real suprise that there's other EVE players in Maelstrom, since we arbitrarily ran into two a few events back (overheard a discussion about ships and stuff).
