Mar. 14th, 2007 04:55 pmDear Colleagues,
As many of you will be already be aware, Getronics have committed to the development and design of the 'Future Ready Workspace' solution.
Within Getronics Professional Services (PS) success in delivering this solution requires having the 'Right People, with the Right Skill Set at the Right time'.
To start to gear ourselves more effectively to respond to such a challenge, a 3 month PILOT initiative entitled 'Top Flight' is being implemented by Sue Kilford and sponsored by myself as the Professional Services Director.
This scheme seeks to attract 'high potential' resources from the external market to start a career with the company. We will also be reviewing following the Pilot, its application for internal resources who have a proven track record of high performance. Internal applicants should first discuss with their team or line manager, and then apply via the same mechanism indicated below.
The programme is designed to 'challenge' and offers an accelerated development process, only those who are able to meet the success criteria desired and who can continually perform to high standards will remain within the scheme.
80% of time will be a Job Placement, 20% dedicated to the Apprentice Programme with 'graduation' expected within 12 months.
Initial Job Placements for the Pilot Intake will involve role placements in the South (e.g., Farnborough, Basingstoke, Reading, London).
You can help us in this endeavour since you may just know someone, 'friends, family, acquaintances' who you think can fulfil the criteria indicated below, and who may prove to be an ideal candidate for the scheme.
If you do, please ask that the individual sends a letter and CV to Recruitment@Getronics.com and/or speak with Clare Taylor Tel: +44 [0]1252 828291 / 828200

We don't have a graduate programme perse within the company - this seeks to offer a variation on a theme capitalising on the Jamie Oliver and Alan Sugar approach to bringing out the best in people.
But I'm all in favour of free speech (blogs) and I understand the cynicism but I can assure you my intentions are honourable.
From little acorns...!
