The Village

The Village hotel spend a while with scaffolding up, 'refurbishing'.
Once they were done, I was vaguely wonderiny what the difference was.

Last night, I was running a bit late for various reasons, and I got to find out.
They've done an 'evening mode' to the pool lighting. Drop the main lights, have some cycling coloured lights, and rely mostly on 'underwater lighting' that reflects out of the pool. It's actually very pleasant, and I'm almost inclined to start getting there later rather than earlier.

Only almost though :)

Sorry, I wasn't being entirely clear. The 'white lighting' is in the pool. There's cycling colour bars around the pool, that does sort of greens, and blues and purples, shining upwards at the white ceiling. (So I'd assume the scaffold was to fit those, and repaint)

That's an impressive kalidoscope of colours. Any chance we could get pictures? ;)

But seriously, good to hear the hotel is paying that much attention to things.
