Ugh, christmas soon.
I hate christmas shopping.
Oh well, I'm mostly done.
Then of course, I have to worry about birthday shopping.

Only got the 4 day block of holiday (well, the site's closed. My boss was keen on the idea of doing some server maintenance work, but that kinda got vetoed), so shall be back in Cov on wednesday or so.
Feel less enthused than I usually do, I suspect more because I've not really had the 'two weeks holiday and christmas' thing ahead of me.

Oh well.

Ugh... that just reminded me that I still haven't bought for my mum's birthday, which is on New Year's Eve. I always forget. Well... not forget, exactly, but having spent ages thinking what she might like for Christmas get a little stuck. So she gets pretty lame birthday presents like last-minute chocolates from the shop down the road. She likes flowers, though. Perhaps I shall go out early on the morning of her bday and get her a really nice bunchful :o)
