EVE is pervasive

Just been up to a support call in Design.
Spotted an EVE poster on the wall.

There's a couple of 'em in that department who also play EVE.

I am amused :).

They did a 'making of' at Fanfest, because ... well believe it or not, there's quite a few people who use EVE to make videos. Best of all, apart from the odd bit of artwork, the whole thing is done from in game footage.

Works best fullscreen and with sound :).

Edit: Oh, yeah. They do trial accounts. Which is like, 14 days to give it a go, and see if you like it.

Was talking to someone at fanfest.
He's got his kids accounts. Because they like doing "What Daddy does".
So he has them mining for him. And they're enjoying it.

Almost as good as the dude at EVE University who's got loads of newbies 'training' by mining for him. For free ships. Which are worth maybe a fraction of what he's extorting. And he's building dreads...

The music is composed by the same guy IIRC, but no, it's not an in game track.
