Car is in garage still. Car is not very well. Problem with the 'speed' cutting out was because the speed sensor has got chewed up in the gearbox. So they're having to strip it.
When did the "speed cutout" start happening? Was it after they last stripped the gearbox to fit a new gear cable? If so, it's possible they ballsed it up.
