Work, life and mayhem.
Sep. 13th, 2005 11:17 amWell, I'm back to work today, after a nice long weekend at Maelstrom.
Maelstrom was lots of fun, barring a few minor whinges.
Getting back to work was not so fun. 5 minutes after arrival, was meeting o'clock.
I have 923 emails waiting for me (+10 that arrived during the meeting).
And about a week's worth of work waiting for me.
Which is, of course, all urgent.
And some prep work for this weekend it would seem.
Joy.
Oh, and I still have to collect my car from BDK, assuming they finish with it - an hour before we were intending to leave for Maelstrom, the gear cable snapped, which was unfortunate. I didn't actually realise I could have still driven it, because when the gear lever started freely moving, I thought better of actually lifting the clutch...
Oh well, could have been whilst I was bombing down the M1, or worse yet, late sunday, when I wanted to go home really really badly.
