Pub?

Well, a large fraction of the 'usual crowd' will be off at Whitby this weekend. As such I'm considering spending my friday evening in the Nursery.

Usual sort of time, of 19:00 onwards.

Any takers?

And if the venue were Beer Engine as usual, would that change matters?

Pub orders

Now, what happens in our office is this:
Thursday, we bugger off down the pub for lunch.
Someone (usually me, but ya'know, sometimes I ain't here) collects orders, and phones 'em in as a batch.

I'm not particularly keen on doing it, but it's not something I mind. I also wouldn't mind, ya'know, if once in a while, someone decided that their time wasn't too important to take a turn at it.

But what's just happened is this. One of my workmates, who sits just behind me, has just _phoned up_ the pub to check what the specials were.
And _then_ has given me his order.

I'm not amused.
Or maybe I am, at the barefaced gall.

Whatever.

October?

It's October 27th. And it's balmy, walm and sunny.

If it weren't for leaves falling and the sun low, I'd call it May/June.

Oh well, least we don't have to worry about climate change.
