What is it that makes someone, anyone feel that crossing a 3 lane road at the lights, when they're still green and there's fast traffic coming a good idea?
And then when cars come up faster than you expected to just stand in the middle of the road like a rabbit in the headlights of a car.
Standing in the middle of 3 lanes just next to the A45/M69 roundabout is a really good way to shorten your life expectance. Not to mention cause traffic chaos. There's a reason those crossings are light controlled - it's so they integrate with the traffic flow.
Oh well, they got to survive today...
