For a junior role, 'sun solaris experience' may be of the level of 'used somewhat at University'.
"Our Surrey based client requires a Unix Systems Engineer / Unix Administrator for a 6 month contract. The main respopnsibility of the role is to ensure the installation, maintenance and smooth operation of the Unix servers, the Oracle databases and Oracle Application servers which host the corporate systems. Unix, Sun/Solaris experience is essential. This is a great opportunity for a junior level Unix candidate to gain valuable commercial experience within a reputable environment."
