What are laws to you?
What are laws to me?
The only important rules in life are these:
Things that you can do, and things that you can't do.
Oh, but I'm not saying that laws should be ignored.
Neither am I saying that they should be followed.
Laws on their own, mean little. When you pick fruit from the tree, do you stop to consider that it may be theft? The tree cares not, the fruit is it's gift to the world.
In order to understand rules of a society, it's first important to understand who you are.
Who are you?
You have a name. Is that who you are?
You have a true name. Is _that_ who you are?
You have a job. Is that who you are?
If you have children, is that who you are?
This is the question that must be answered before one can grow in spirit.
When I first woke to the world, I wandered for many days, lost. I was something I had never encountered before, and so I could not understand my place and purpose.
I walked the forest, and found that there was a way. Experiences and desires are what define us. A child amongst you does not know who he is. This is why he is a child.
I watched the sun rise over the forest for the first time. A deep orange glow, as light and warmth slowly flowed across the land. In that moment, I knew a little more about myself.
I am now a priest of the Jaguar. It's a good relationship. A personal relationship. I have heard these priests from what you call the known world, and they say that the will of their Gods come through them. This is a lie, it's a way of controlling you. I say to you, that _everyone_ can know the Gods.
In that moment of warmth, from the first rays of the sun, in the heady rush of a task well done, and in the radiant heat of true love, the Jaguar is there.
I can tell you tales of the things I have seen, and I can show you, and share with you delights I have experienced. I can place your name before my god. But I am nothing more than a guide, I am not a translator to interpret the will of the Jaguar.
Go forth. Experience delights and joys. And if you decide that this is the way you wish to live your life, then come back, and I shall start you upon your journey.
