Started with the 'longest' setting on the comb, since I figured it's far easier to cut a little more off, than it is to put it back on again. I may try again in a week or two, but for now, this suffices.
Whilst hairdressers may do a professional job, there's one _major_ advantage to getting your hair truncated in this fashion - you can get into the shower right away.
I now await the screams of horror from my housemates when they realise that the new carpet in the bathroom, isn't.
