I hate Mondays. Even though today is Tuesday, because I had the day off yesterday, it's still a virtual Monday.

The first day of the week, with that distant goal of 'Friday' as far as possiblme.

This morning was particularly entertaining. It seems schools are back, (ok, that may have been yesterday, but that doesn't count). Which means that every fuckwit and their dog is exercising their divine right to drive like a pillock.

OK, same situation really. Rush hour drivers want to go to work. They drive predictable and assertive. Great.

And then you add into this mix, to really disrupt the traffic flow:

muppets on mopeds. I don't care what you say, they're still motorised hoovers. And 'bimbling' on fast "A" roads at 25 miles an hour, whilst traffic is queuing up behind you as you wiggle and wobble unnerringly towards some random location is just infuriating.

The other irritation is 'entitled parents'. I fully appreciate that you may have your little darling chill'uns on board. And that you love them dearly.

THERE'S NO EXCEPTION IN THE HIGHWAY CODE FOR YOU.

A 'Baby on Board' badge does not count as a 'free arsehole pass'. Here's news for you. Everyone on the road is going somewhere, and would really rather like to get there. Driving your SUV (which may or may not be 4x4, they are definitely just BIG CARS) like they're your entitlement to create roadblocks, cut people up and generally make people get out of your way is just going to make me go postal and jump out of my car, and stick a knife in those ludicrously oversized tyres.

And then maybe you.

Grr.
