Gone lookin'

Went for a walk in search of inspiration. I think, after a fashion, I have found it. Now all that remains is to see what the upshot of the interview was.

But the thought occurs, how do you go about finding inspiration, or solutions to problems? Do you find that talking about it helps? Or just sleeping on it.

Enquiring minds need to know.

I do find that talking does help. Not allways from the 'another opinion' side, but simply from providing a sounding board for your own views. Bouncing them off another person often helps get them into a sensible state. Or point out how damn stupid they are.

inspiration

i often go looking for it.. ( i am at the moment for costume ideas).

i sometimes find it in the wierdest of places.

and i do find talking about a problem will often create inspiration, moslty cos it allows the mind to formulate the problem put it into coherance and the sub concious spits out a response

More than once in my life, I have puzzled and puzzle dover a problem in my waking hours, gone to sleep and promptly dreamed the solution. I know several of my friends and colleagues have done likewise. I think it sometimes helps to just relax and let your brain tune out a bit, so your creative instincts can kick in and say "Hey! Try it like this!"

Strictly speaking, of ocurse, inspiration can't be found. It rises up, Kubla khan stylee...
