Solaris 10
Oooh Oooh.
Solaris 10
*spooge*
Pity their servers are so badly overloaded that I can't download it.
(and bear in mind this is Sun's website, so it takes a lot to kill it)
Includes:
Dtrace. A sysadmin's dream. A proper 'diagnosic tool' that's built into the kernel.
ZFS. A bit of an update on ol' UFS. Looks like it's pilfered design concepts heavily from Veritas VxFS, and again, looks really good.
Solaris Self Healing. Auto fix, automatically disable and transfer service on hardware.
Oh yeah, and will run Linux apps out of the can. (although if you're changing processor architecture, eg. from SPARC to x86, you'll need to re-compile ;p)
Oh, and of course, Solaris guarantee that it's 100% backwards compatible.

trussis good, but dtrace looks like like so many generations beyond.

One of the webteam downloaded the x86 version before their website was slashdotted, luck swine.
