Just finished reading 'Naked Empire' (well, yesterday) by Terry Goodkind.
If you've read the previous 7 or so books of his, then you'll probably read this one. If you enjoyed them, you'll probably enjoy this one too. A little formulaic, but...
Richard finds out a new wizard rule at some point in the plot. Bimbles about a bit, figures out what it means and proceeds to open a can of whoop-arse.
It's kinda fun, and has a measure of freedom moralisation. It's a bit less poigniant than Faith of the Fallen though.
Oh, and I caught one real plot twist, and that was really rather obvious. And I'm still amazed at how Richard and Kahlan can remain quite so gullible, after all the previous occasions when they've been fucked over.
The fact that I finished it in two days should be enough of a measure. It was good enough that I kept on reading. (And easy enough to read that I read it quick)
