Hillier Arboretum

sobriqueas I write this I am sitting in the cafe of the Hillier Arboretum near Romsey. (30th Dec).
It's rather pleasant. A little chilly but come spring will be an excellent place to sit and read for an hour or five. It set me thinking. What places around Cov are good for that? Obviously various pubs, and Jephson Gardens in Leam spring to mind but surely in such a fine city alternatives spring to mind?
