Mr William Jarvis, formerly of White Friars Olde Ale House, is pleased to inform you as of the 14th June 2004, that the Ale house (formerly know as the Beer Engine, Far Gosford St) will be opening under his guidance and management.

The staff is to include Ian, Geoff, Layla, Big Ted, Frank and (probably) Emma. Pool tables are even as we speak heading into the skip, as is the juke box. A selection of fine ales will be gracing the pumps with "Black Sheep" as a permanent house ale.

You are cordially invited to attend the opening night.

i don't supose they could keep One pool Table hidden away for special people could they:) its one of the things i really could do to master.. how to hit a pool/snooker ball without shredding the baize.. or puting it in someones drink..
