The Christmas Ordeal
Jan. 1st, 2004 01:00 amWell, I figured I would try posting through Pocket LJ.
Since this is here, it works.
Been home over christmas. Reminding myself why I moved out.
Don't get me wrong, I get along with most my family, it's just...
Well parents fuss. About so many things. _Some_ of which I agree with, but there's only so much flapping about trivia that one can cope with.
The other thing has been doing the rounds of relatives, grandparents and "family friends" for point scoring conniving and moaning.
later (at the time of writing) I get to deal with "tea" with gran and uncle.
That will be with one of the relatives I _don't_ get along with.
Ick.
I wonder if I can beg off with prior commitments...
What I'd really like is to be able to curl up with the current book - the Bourne Identity by Robert Ludlum. The film is good but the book is really good.
Oh well. New years party will be good. Whats the verdict on giving the Nursery a try on friday?
