If one were to create a spell called "Cake or Death" for a roleplay game, what would it do?

Weeeellll, depends on how serious you're being. It could create two look-alike cakes, for instance. One tastes great and refills your life points, the other kills you. You have to eat one and only one.

Or it could create a bag which contains one of the two items, and you don't know which until you reach in and pull it out.

Or just a 50% chance of causing one of the two effects. Can also be cast on another person, leaving him either dead or with a nice cake.

I was thinking roughly in terms of a 'cake strike' dropping a fruitcake on top of them from a height.
If they don't dodge, they're covered in cake. If they do, then they're caught by some other special effect that does it's best to kill them.

Could also work.

then the cake or death in the title would refer to whether it was a rock cake or a sponge...

If I was GM-ing it, it would get the character creating it hit by a large rock falling at extreme velocity from a great height.
