Advice needed
Mar. 25th, 2004 02:19 pmGood places to take 'family' around Coventry.
The situation is this. There is a requirement to feed 10 people on Easter Sunday.
It can't be a 'foreign' restaurant.
And the food has got to be good, but sensibly priced. (Ideally less than £15 per head).
In terms of range, about a half hour drive is the limit (So Rugby, Leamington, Kenilworth etc. are potential options)
So far we have:
The Bear at Berkswell.
Coombe Abbey
Windmill village hotel - A45, just outside coventry hotel/golfcourse.
Edit: Have also has recommendations for Browns - it's 'studenty' on friday/saturday but for sunday lunch is remarkably civilised.
Also a suggestion of "five monkeys" whitefriars street.
Village hotel. (Earlsdon)
Old mill Baginton.
As potential prospects. (But given that it's Easter weekend some just aren't options - eg. the Bear aren't taking bookings).
Further suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
