This morning, I'm bouncing on my way to work.
The reason? Some new gel innersoles, and neoprene ankle supports.
Been givin' me grief for a while, so I thought i'd try it this way.

Too many spams this morning. Including _several_ about cleaning my colon.
For some reason, that worries me.

This morning, I shall mostly be drinking Nescafe alta rica coffee, and water soluable citrus flavour calcium and vitamin D tablets.

The former is rather good. The latter is fucking horrible. I don't recommend it.

WHFRP campaign tonight. The campaign is excellent fun, and something of a riot. The party seems to be extremely successful at being a self propelled trouble magnet.

So far, we've had:
A PC randomly go kill someone for money, to become an assassin (yes, this was I. It failed horribly)
A PC pick up a really big, dusty tome, and go 'ooh cool power magic'. This of course, involved a descent to consorting with powers of chaos. (And my character, Symm, ended up fed healing and invisibility potions, amonst which the ingredients included warpstone and spleens. I mean SPLEENS, for fucks sake. ARGH!)
A PC dig up a body in an opera house, and get chased around town with it in a sack. Bones more than a body really, but... Actually, this involved getting bounties, and being chased by a witch hunter. We're still a little jumpy about them.
A PC end up on the wrong side of a fight, that involved ulrican mad people, vs a bunch of rock hard templars. That got him dead, but also made things amazingly difficult for the rest of the party to explain.
A PC offer to carry a bunch of letters (in return for sexual favours from college). Innocuous enough, except when the bundle of letters happen to mention chaos, mutants and the emperor all at once.
As a result of the previous incident, when our cart got searched, and the manure under which he was hiding got prodded with a sword, the mage decided that 'they were asking too much as a bribe' and so let rip with a fireball.

So anyway, we're about a day into the Middenheim festival. The second day of the archery tournament is on. My character (Symm) has made it through, due to his amazing skills with a bow (hmm, am I boasting? Oh well ;p). Hoping they'll let me use a longbow for the next set, cos that's another 10 ballistic skill. OK, so everyone is in the same boat, but there's a certain psychological edge to having 98%...

The newcomer to the party, who seems to have got off a _little_ on the wrong foot by being a sneaky devious bastard (not that such is _bad_ exactly, but the rest of the party is suffering incipient nervous breakdowns, extreme paranoia and an aversion to blacksmiths.), went off partying with nobles, and spent the whole night on huge amounts of drugs and playing kinky bondage games.

Whilst the rest of us wimped a bit, and went to get some kip. Well, after we had done our errand ("Dropping off a letter, to our mate Ar Ulric, from a mutual friends the Grand Theogenist, and the Great Healer"). And had horrible nightmares.
These sets of events, ironically, earned approximately the same number of insanity points. I'm no longer winning the race to becoming a mad monkey. Our mage is doing _quite_ nicely at that now. Started off with chaos magic, and then a spirit quest which went a bit wrong...

Starting to get event fever for SINergy again.

It does promise to be fun, well, apart from the fact that due to 'technical difficulties' we're only really pulling it together as of tuesday.
It'll be a little less organised, but some fun plans are going down.
Of course, there's also people stirring trouble about how mirage isn't going to be able to provide coverage of the club. They're just trying to muscle in on the action. Trolls.

Managed to convince Oliver that he should show up. He'll probably play a gun bunny, because it's simpler to write the back plot. And because he has guns. Of course, my character has guns too, and _just_ enough skill to use them.

Todo list for today - get VMWare ESX installed on new server, set up networking etc. Sort out service requests for software, and data migrations (boring). Spam LJ more.
