sobriqueWell, my new toy has just arrived. Well, it's not strictly speaking _mine_ it's just a new server, that is 'mine' in the sense of me being it's lord and master.
Oh yes.
It's a Compaq^WHP DL760. It has 16Gb of RAM. 4 x 3.5Ghz processors. 8 x 146Gb SCSI disks.
It's going to be running VMWare ESX. An operating system that allows multiple copies of other operating systems to run simultaneously.
Our existing servers (2) are hosting a total of 27 virtual servers.
Which is nice.
Personal toys at the moment, include airsoft guns.
A nice S&W M29 .44 Magnum, made by Tanaka works, and a wood furniture Remington M1100 semi-auto shotgun made by Maruzen.
Great fun.
